We develop orphaned and vulnerable children into mature Christians equipped to live in their own culture. We do this by enabling local Christians to meet the physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual needs of these children.

Statement of Faith
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that the salvation of lost and sinful men is by the grace of God through faith in Christ and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. They that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal separation from God.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
VisionTrust International was founded by Dr. Ernie Taylor, Mr. Gary Ganz, and Mr. Jeff Behan. Ernie Taylor, a lifelong missionary, was looking to start a different kind of organization; one that would come alongside children at a young age and continue to serve them through high school graduation. Jeff Behan and Gary Ganz were business partners with a desire that their for-profit company, VisionTrust Communications, not only measure success based on bottom-line performance, but dedicate its resources to a ministry that would change the world and increase the Kingdom of God. In 1997, the three formed VisionTrust International, Inc., developed the mission of the organization, and established its original Board of Directors.
VisionTrust International’s work began with a pre-school program in the Dominican Republic and an orphanage in Myanmar. Today, through our local partners, we operate Transitional Homes, Schools, and Learning Centers in 17 countries throughout the world, serving over 18,000 children. All of these children receive nutritious meals, education, and spiritual care.
Dr. Ernie Taylor was the CEO of the organization from 1997 through 2012 and continued to serve on the Board of Directors and in the field through 2017. Taylor’s son-in-law, Matthew D. Storer, joined the team as President in 2004 and became CEO in 2012. Storer continued to lead the organization through 2017. Having served on the VisionTrust International Board of Directors for 20 years, serving in many capacities within the organization, Jeff Behan is currently serving as Chairman of the Board.
