Sam lives with his family in the Howein community, southeast of central Monrovia. Sam is often busy helping with chores like cleaning and running errands, but in his free time he enjoys bicycling, jumping rope, and running in his spare time. Although the typical home is constructed from cement blocks, with a thatched roof and a dirt or cement floor, they often use any material at hand, including metal and wood. There is no plumbing, electricity or water. Their water sources are usually creeks, ponds, or community wells. For many of the children from this community, this will be their first opportunity to attend school. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Sam to attend school where he will receive school books, nutritious meals, and basic dental and medical care. He will hear the Gospel presented through Christian curriculum and learn of Jesus’ love for him at school and at church. Please remember to pray for Sam.
