Fatu lives with her parents in the impoverished community of Kpondeh Town where her household chores include running errands and carrying water. Both of Fatu’s parents are farmers, and use what they grow to feed the family and sell in the local market. The typical home is made of mud bricks and sticks with a dirt floor and a thatch roof. There is no plumbing, electricity or water. While this community is still in recovery from the civil war, they also experience the added difficulties of unemployment, malaria and a lack of basic nutrition. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Fatu to attend school where she will receive nutritious meals, a quality education, and care for her health. Even more, she will hear the Gospel and learn of Jesus’ love for her. Fatu attends church. She enjoys reading, singing, and playing baseball. Please remember to pray for Fatu. Your love and support will help her receive the assistance she needs to develop to her full potential.
