Frequently Asked Questions
  • How long is my commitment to sponsorship?
    We ask that the minimum sponsorship commitment be one year. We hope that you will sponsor your child the entire time he/she is in the program.

  • How do I pay for my sponsorship?
    You can set up automatic payments through VisionTrust for monthly donations by submitting your credit card information online, mailing a check to our office, or by calling 719-268-2943.

  • How am I billed for my child sponsorship?
    As a non-profit organization we are not able to send "bills". When you send in a donation, you will receive a receipt which has a tear-off portion at the bottom. This will serve as your reminder for your next payment.

  • Will I be the only person sponsoring my child?
    Yes.

  • Can I send letters to my child?
    Please direct all letters for your child to the VisionTrust office. We will forward your letter to your child.

  • Can I send a gift to my child?
    Yes. Please make sure that your gift can fit into a 6" x 9" envelope and is labeled with your child's name and country. Your gift should not be valued at more than $10 USD. (Examples of appropriate gifts: comb, stickers, hair accessories, one matchbox car, pencils, etc.) We cannot accept candy or perishable items. All gifts are hand carried into the countries by VisionTrust staff and representatives.

  • How often will I receive a report about my child?
    Our goal is four times per year. Sometimes this is not possible because of various conditions that might exist.

  • If I stop sponsoring my child, what happens to him/her?
    VisionTrust will immediately seek a new sponsor for your child.
