Jose came to live at the orphanage after a social worker came to investigate living conditions. They found that there were no home furnishings, not even a chair or mattress, because everything had been sold to purchase alcohol. Jose and his brother had gone as long as three days at a time, without food. He was very malnourished when he arrived at the orphanage. Through your sponsorship Jose will receive education, hot meals, a warm place to sleep and medical care in a loving atmosphere. Each day Jose will learn of Jesus' love for him. In addition, Jose attends church and Sunday school. He helps by cleaning, sweeping and washing dishes. Jose enjoys playing soccer and other group games. He also likes to draw.
