Lucius lives with his grandparents in the area of Katsekera southeast of Ntcheu. Both of his parents passed away when Lucius was only a year old. His grandparents are elderly and so Lucius' older brother dropped out of school to care for the family. Lucius has one outfit, a shirt and black shorts, which he wears daily. The typical home is constructed from clay bricks, with a thatch or tin roof and a dirt floor. Lucius lives in an environment where illiteracy, alcoholism and HIV are common issues. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Lucius to attend the learning center where he will receive tutoring, a nutritious snack and learn of Jesus' love for him. He spends most of his time with his grandfather and does not play with the other children. Please remember to pray for Lucius.
