Jefferson lives with his parents in this impoverished area of Cruz Blanca. His father works as a baker. The living conditions are very poor. Jefferson's home is constructed from cinder blocks with a tin roof and a dirt floor. They must buy water from a truck that visits the community or collect rain water. They live in an environment where respiratory problems are a common result of the use of firewood in indoor cooking. Your sponsorship will make it possible for Jefferson to attend school and the learning center where he will receive tutoring, food and learn of Jesus' love for him. Jefferson enjoys singing and playing soccer with the other children. He attends church with his family. Please remember him in your prayers.
